Does EyeJolt Record You? Camera Privacy Explained

No. EyeJolt uses the camera as a live sensor during monitoring but does not record, store, or upload camera frames.

What the camera sees

The operating system provides live frames for face-signal estimation while a session is active.

What EyeJolt keeps

Local settings and session metadata can include duration, closure timing, alert counts, and sounds fired. They do not include face images.

Custom alarms

Audio you record is stored locally and can be added to your rotation. It is shared only when you choose an export action.

Background desktop use

On macOS, the native monitor can continue while the EyeJolt window is behind other apps. This does not change the no-recording policy.
