How EyeJolt works.

EyeJolt uses your device camera as a local live sensor, watches for signs of fading, and fires alerts designed to break through drowsiness.

1. Start a session

Place your device where the camera can see your face, choose your alert rotation, and start watching.

2. Watch live signals

EyeJolt looks at local face signals such as eye openness and head position. It does not need to save camera frames to do this.

3. Detect fading

The app looks for patterns such as sustained eye closure rather than treating every blink as drowsiness.

4. Fire a jolt

When the app believes you are fading, it plays a randomized alarm and, where supported, brings the desktop app forward.

What EyeJolt does not do

EyeJolt does not clinically diagnose microsleep, narcolepsy, sleep apnea, or any medical condition. It may miss fatigue events, and it may produce false alerts if lighting, camera angle, glasses, or face visibility interfere with the signal.
