Camera permission
Allow camera access in system settings, restart EyeJolt, and confirm your face and both eyes are visible. On macOS, permission belongs to the signed EyeJolt app, not the Vite development browser.
Start with camera position and a test alarm. Then use the platform-specific checks below if the live signal or alerts do not behave as expected.

Use Test Sound before starting a session. Confirm system volume, output device, and headphones. A sound preview working does not prove detection is active, so also watch the live signal.
Start Watching should remain in the active state until you stop it. If alarms continue after stopping, fully quit and reopen the app, then contact support with the platform and version.
Mobile monitoring follows the mobile app runtime. macOS supports native background monitoring and can bring EyeJolt forward on alarm. The web app is foreground-only. Windows remains in hardware validation.
