Vehicle-integrated systems
Built-in systems may use infrared cameras, steering behaviour, lane position, or multiple signals. They can integrate with vehicle warnings but remain driver-assistance features, not autonomous safety guarantees.
Driver monitoring systems use in-cabin sensors and software to estimate attention or drowsiness. Their capabilities vary by vehicle, hardware, market, and manufacturer.

Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions, keep sensors clear, and understand whether the system is active. Do not assume every warning icon represents the same capability.
